Project description:

TenneT is building a new 380 kV high-voltage connection between Beverwijk and Bleiswijk; the Randstad 380 kV Noordring. With a length of 60 kilometres, the new high-voltage connection is TenneT’s largest onshore project in the Netherlands. This new high-voltage connection is not only important for the security of supply of electricity in the Randstad region, but also for transporting the green energy from the projected wind farms in the North Sea. As part of Randstad 380 kV Noordring, the 380kV substation Oostzaan has been expanded with an extra bay.

Activities of Energy Solutions:

TenneT assigned Energy Solutions to make a detailed design for the  primary installation of the expansion of 380kV station Oostzaan. The following tasks have been performed:

Detailed drawings of the 380kV  primary design and components
Lightning protection and earthing study
Short circuit and ampacity calculations for selection of the 380kV components
